What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?
 
As the IT Security Operations Lead, you will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of service quality within the Security Operations Centre. Your leadership ensures rapid and effective responses to security incidents, maintaining operational continuity and efficiency consistently. This role is vital for initiating and overseeing the incident response process seamlessly, particularly in the absence of the Head of Security Operations. By doing so, you will ensure that our security posture remains strong and resilient, significantly supporting the organization's risk management and compliance efforts.   The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post: •    Deep Cybersecurity Knowledge: Proficient in ethical hacking, intrusion prevention, threat detection and response, and reverse engineering. Familiar with Security Blue Team Level 1 & 2 training and TryHackMe learning paths.
•    Leadership and Coaching: Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring a security operations team, with a strong background in fostering team growth and development.
•    Extensive Technical Expertise: Over 5 years in a Security Operations Centre environment, with solid skills in a broad range of cybersecurity technologies including IDS/IPS, DLP, endpoint security, and more.
•    Certifications and Standards Proficiency: Holds professional security certifications (e.g., Security+, GIAC, CISSP) and is well-versed in major security standards and frameworks such as NIST and ISO/IEC 27001.
•    Communication and Documentation: Excellent communication skills capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders; adept at producing detailed technical documentation.
